We sailed from San Diego at 4 PM yesterday afternoon. I took some pictures of the downtown skyline as we sailed down the Harbor. I was amazed at the number of high rises
that have been built in the three-year time since we moved to the desert. We both enjoyed the cool marine air that is so characteristic of San Diego - what a contrast to the desert air.
Dinner was at 5:45 PM and we enjoyed a caeser salad and a very nice cut of prime rib (medium rare). For desert I asked for pineapple sorbet, but was served a fresh rasberry sundae,
which was what Ruth had ordered. It was delicious, but I suffered with gastrological overload, but I spare you the details.
Our sleep was fitfull as we got use to the ship noises and the gentle roll from side-to-side. The seas are very calm and there is no apparent breeze.
Neither of us was hungry so I lugged back some sweet rolls, dry cereal, yogurt, fruit and really good coffee, which we enjoyed at a small table on our deck.
I know, I know, I know. This is a tough life and I feel your pain.
We are about half way down Baja on our way to Cabo San Lucas. We are scheduled to arrive at 10 AM, tomorrow.
Gotta go. Have to take some pictures, get some more coffee, take a stroll around the Promenade Deck and collapse in a deck chair. What a chore.
Love to all

Enjoying your comments about your trip. It sounds like you guys are having a wonderful time. Yesterday 10/7 you were on the same longitude as Grand Rapids but it wasn't 76 degrees here!
